The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency. Yet most people have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future.
This new 50-minute film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation – and the credible, positive responses available – in a clear and accessible account.

Friday 17 July
7pm refreshments
Free to attend
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster.
Now the People's Emergency Briefing is bringing the same message to communities around the country – including Easton Village Hall on Friday 17 July.
After the film, there will be an opportunity for people to share their response to the film, and to discuss ways to engage positively around solutions in their local community.
Tea & coffee will be available. There will be an opportunity to make a voluntary donation to help cover the costs of the event.
